Skimming over Sacerdotalis Caelibatus to discover that Pope Paul VI basically wrote my paper for me.
(He didn’t, to be clear. I have six pages of me discussing my theory and I needed some priestly quotes and the guy provided. More than provided. Like exact language I need.)
How much I enjoy this topic (celibacy in the Catholic priesthood, religious theory of right now, to be expanded to sex abuse cases and the changing relationship between church/state when it’s thesis time) is pretty much a win in itself. I’m so excited for next year.
