I stumbled onto the Newbery Honor wikipedia page. I entirely forgot that from 5th to 7th grade I attempted to read all of them. I actually was fairly successful, Wikipedia informs me that I’ve read the majority from 1970 on.

This and The Westing Game were by far my favorites. 

(Also The Watsons Go To Birmingham for straight up nostalgia. I read that one for book group in fifth grade and at the end of the book, you had to do some sort of project. We did a movie because the teacher wouldn’t let us to a rap (I still vaguely remember the rap, I think we put it in the credits))
