I don’t generally do birthdays well, but I am so so happy to be turning twenty today. I’m done being a teenager and I have a whole new decade before me. It’s entirely irrational, but I feel like I get a whole new start and I’m excited to be able to try again.
As much as I have whined and panicked for the past five months, I am happy that I get to spend the first day of my third decade (…okay, well, that is terrifying), doing something that I absolutely love, hopefully doing it very very well, and setting the tone for what I want out of my twenties. Let’s do this :)
